Criticalink is a peer-to-peer community based service app, with a highly skilled and trained team in first-aid to provide immediate on location service in the event of any accident. The teams are known as the "First Responders" and anyone using this application can notify the team of an accident with the aid of image and location details. Criticalink is currently operating in Dhaka, Bangladesh but we have future plans to go global pretty soon. The key features of Criticalink are:
Features available for general users:
1. Report accidents
2. See nearby amenities e.g. Hospitals, Police stations and Fire departments.
3. Take images of the accident to aid first responders.
Key Features available to First Responders:
1. Interact with dispatched accidents e.g. Going to the site, check-in at the site and create detailed report of the accident.
2. Get notified of a new accident near the user via push notifications.
3. See a list of users that are going, left or already checked-in at the location.
There are thousands of people dying due to road accidents left unattended by the authorities, the inception of the idea behind Criticalink was to tackle not only road accidents that are overlooked by the authorities but to tackle all types of accidents and making a good samaritan out of anyone who is willing to do the part out of the community, and for a country with no emergency service like 911 or 999, Criticalink plays a major part to notify the appropriate authorities of accidents taking place using the clever nearby amenities feature.
